A few days ago I was talking to our drummer, my older brother Erick, about recording a couple of popular songs that we used to play many years ago when we were still doing rock cover songs in the clubs. I was thinking that we should just record a few of our favorites for posterity’s sake. But as we talked, it occurred to us that maybe we should post the results right here on our website. So, that’s what we’re gonna do!
We’re going to put together some old video of us from our cover band days and we’ll record new audio of some of the songs that we covered back then. We also want to pick up a few obscure, less mainstream songs from famous bands and record those. If you have any particular songs that you’d like to hear then you should tell us. We just might end up recording one or more of your suggestions.
Here’s a list of just some of the songs that we played back in our cover days.

You probably noticed a lot of typical covers in that list. Hey, don’t blame us!… We had to play some standard rock cover songs to keep the club owners and the audience happy. We’ll never do that again! Fuck that shit! You gotta remember that if the girls weren’t up and shakin’ it on the dance floor it meant the owner or booker wouldn’t be asking our band to play their club again. I can’t complain though. We had tons of gigs and as you can see by the list, though we did some crap cover songs, we did play some good stuff too.
Tell us which cover songs we should record. Do you like any particular song from the list above? How about a song from your favorite band? Tell us in the comment section below or send us a message through our contact page.
